Sara J. Cavendish

Sara J. Cavendish, the Managing Member, has been in the investment advisory business since 1998. Ms. Cavendish received her JD from University of Chicago Law School in 1989 and her BA in Economics and History from Yale College in 1984. Prior to founding Plein Air (formerly known as Windward Asset Management, LLC) in January 2008, Ms. Cavendish was a principal of Marshfield Associates and served as a senior portfolio manager and core research team member. She also served five years as policy advisor to the US Department of Treasury, worked for the White House, practiced law at White & Case in New York City, and completed a management training program at Algemene Bank Nederland, N.V.
